What did being in the Alcorn State University band mean to you?

It meant gaining a group of friends who would be the sisters I never had. I was also able to stay active and have fun while doing something I love.

How does it feel to be an original member of the first dance team in the history of HBCUs?

It feels very special because we were able to be a part of something original and distinctive. We were able to showcase many talents such as marching, twirling, and dancing while being fierce and fabulous on the field.
